i dont see any problem if someone is still in his clan. Everyone wants some security. What would he do if he left his clan, and couldn't get into the one he desires. Nothing is just black or white.

If u are looking for a better job, u usually do it before u leave the one u have. It's all about improving situation, not worsening.
